2016 Shanghai Macroeconomics Workshop Held at SOE

During June 25 and 27, the 2016 Shanghai Macroeconomics Workshop was held at Room 511 of the Building of the School of Economics by SOE, the IAR and the Key Laboratory of Mathematical Economics (SUFE), Ministry of Education. Dean of the SOE and IAR, Professor Guoqiang Tian and the distinguished professor of SOE, Kevin Huang, attended and delivered opening speeches at the workshop. The workshop was organized and hosted by associate professor Zhe Li from the SOE.

Numbers of internationally renowned scholars were invited to the workshop including Professor Shouyong Shi from Pennsylvania State University, associate editor of Macroeconomic Dynamics, Professor Kevin Huang from Vanderbilt University, associate editor of Journal of Monetary Economics, Professor Yongsung Chang from Rochester University, associate editor of European Economic Review, Professor Amartya Lahiri from University of British Columbia, associate editor of Journal of Money,Credit and Banking, Professor Valerie A. Ramey from University of California, and Dr. Adam Gulan from Bank of Finland. Scholars from SOE, including Professor Zhe Li, Myungkyu Shim, Can Tian, Chao He and Jie Cai also presented their papers at the workshop.
