2016 Shanghai Microeconomics Workshop Held at SOE

During June 22 and 23, the 2016 Shanghai Microeconomics Workshop was held at Room 807 of the Building of the School of Economics by SOE, the IAR and the Key Laboratory of Mathematical Economics (SUFE), Ministry of Education. Dean of the SOE and IAR, Professor Guoqiang Tian attended and delivered opening speech at the workshop. The workshop was organized by Sambuddha Ghosh and Wenzhang Zhang from the econometrics department of SOE.

Numbers of internationally renowned scholars were invited to the workshop including Professor Dilip Abreu from Princeton University, member of World Econometrics Society , Professor Hitoshi Matsushima from Tokyo University, associate editor of Journal of Economic Theory, Professor Fuhito Kojima from Stanford University, associate editor of Economic Theory、Journal of Mathematical Economics and Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Professor Satoru Takahashi from Singapore Management University. Nearly 20 scholars from Stanford University, Miami University, Singapore National University exchanged their research results at the workshop. Professor Ning Sun, Wenzhang Zhang, Sambuddha Ghosh and Qianfeng Tang from the SOE also presented their papers at the workshop.

This is the 7th microeconomics workshop held by the SOE. The series of workshops is an integral part of the school's constant efforts in high-end academic exchange and quality research through various academic activities, such as seminars, workshops, lectures, forums, and conferences.
